Another one from London yesterday.
A recent commission for a collector of money art, utilizing the transparent space on the newest five pound note.
First time painting money, definitely a weird one. Whilst we normally spray canvases that have their own cost, there’s an added pressure to literally painting on money and not wanting to screw up.
The garden studio cometh…
We had a long forgotten gallery consignment returned to us (from five years ago!) and so now there’s two ‘Eight Dogs’ prints that we’ve thrown up in the store!
Packing this up for the courier tomorrow but after the number of emails we’ve gotten about this, a print edition is definitely on the cards!
We’ve just released a new painting, titled ‘With Twisted Steel And Bone’! It’s painted on a gorgeous pallet lid we’ve had in the studio for a couple months now and is the perfect backdrop for a fight between skeletons and knights! Click the photo below for more details and photos of the process!
Of course, flying downwards was always an immediate solution.
BOOM! It was about time for a new portrait.
We’re very proud to announce that we’re the festival artist for Upfest 2017!
It’s a massive honour to take this role on, as our first Upfest back in 2009 opened up a whole world of friends and opportunities. I think we’re going to have some fun with this!
