Original sculpey dog, iron filing and rusted in vinegar dog, favourite hue of yellow dog, unpigmented resin dog, gold dog, dog-eared concrete dog. Early material experiments for our ‘DOG’ edition of toys.
“And what was your first reaction when you discovered your amazing find?” “Woof woof woof, woof woof.” “Simply amazing.”
Another recent commission for a New Yorker and his dog Milo! We had a lot of fun drawing scenes for each window and giving it that NY apartment vibe.
Stumbled across an early resin dog from the first attempt at casting toys in 2012! Fascinating to stick it beside the pup we made earlier this year and see the improvements. Much more satisfying proportions!

We’re finally releasing this edition of toy dogs later today at 6pm, so in the meantime, check out the process video here!

The first half pouring of the rubber mould, which will be allowed to cure, before pouring the second half on to complete the two-part mould.
