New year's resolutions are stupid. Of course, this would be the natural position of someone (me) who frequently fails to make their resolutions stick beyond the city limits of the place we all know as 'January'.
An entirely fresh year is delicious though, I'm not impervious to it's mint condition. Anything could happen! And if you're the sort of person who can harness that energy for the betterment of yourself, I can just about squeak out the phrase 'good for you' without sounding too jealous.
Seriously though, if you can do that, well done and please tell me your secrets.
However, I've drawn, pulled and folded this screen print into existence as a satisfying reminder for the rest of us: each new day is as good a place to start becoming more of the person we want to be, not just on 1st January.
